Hospice is about making the most of every moment. Heart House Hospice is a community program that offers in home support to palliative individuals and their families living in Brampton and Mississauga. We have a number of programs and supports (including one to one counselling, education, day programs, wellness activities, caregiver education and groups). If too many words take out bracketed section and add period.
Heart House Hospice also has a program specifically to support children and youth who are living with the dying or death of a family member or primary caregiver or who are facing death themselves. Our H.U.U.G. (Help Us Understand Grief) program provides education, one to one support and counselling that helps children, youth and families find ways to communicate and support one another in their grief and maintain connections and memories of loved ones who have died. Our H.U.U.G. program is available in the regions of Peel and Halton.
